Territorial Acknowledgement
We acknowledge that we are uninvited settlers on the ancestral and traditional and unceded territory of Coast Salish Peoples, Á,LEṈENEȻ ȽTE (W̱SÁNEĆ) sc̓əwaθenaɁɬ təməxʷ (Tsawwassen), S’ólh Téméxw (Stó:lō), Semiahmoo, Kwantlen First Nations. Unceded refers to land that was stolen.
We acknowledge that we am a uninvited settler, benefiting from colonialism. We further acknowledge that colonialism has, and continues to perpetuate injustices and genocides to Indigenous peoples, including but not limited to Missing Indigenous Women and Girls, capture of Indigenous children, erasure of language and culture, inadequate housing and water water, ethnic cleansing and continual perpetration of colonial oppression.
